Sphera Franchise Group, a Bucharest Stock Exchange listed entity, is the largest group in the Romanian food service sector, with over 170 restaurants and around 5,000 employees. It owns the companies operating the brands KFC, Pizza Hut, Pizza Hut Delivery and Taco Bell in Romania, KFC in Moldova, and several KFC restaurants in Italy. The brands are part of Yum!, a USA-based company with over 54.000 restaurants, in more than 150 countries and territories.  KFC – operated in Romania since 1997, now with over 100 drive-thru and dine-in restaurants in Romania, Chișinău (Republic of Moldova) and Italy.  Pizza Hut – with the first restaurant opened in 1994, and more than 20 dine-in and express locations at the moment.  Pizza Hut Delivery – home delivery concept introduced in 2007, with currently over 20 units.  Taco Bell – Mexican-inspired brand launched in 2017, already numbering 14 restaurants.
