The progress of Kyungsung,continuing for 63 years,continues at this moment In 1955, theology professor Pastor Kim Gil Chang, the pioneer of Christianity in Korea, founded Kyungnam College of Education with loving and serving Christian mind. Later in 1979, the school developed itself into Busan Industrial University while the construction committee was created to expand its facilities and to improve in its quality. In September 1983, the school was approved and recognized as a university. Then in 1988, the university was renamed as Kyungsung Univerity to respond to the various demands of the society and seek the path of becoming a global university. Currently, the university comprises 8 colleges, 6 graduate schools, 4 affiliates and 7 institutions with a total of 700 staff members and 13,000 students achieving their education objectives accordingly.
