JUNG as an Employer JUNG is a premium supplier of modern building technology systems. Switches, sockets, dimmers, monitoring devices and systems for controlling functionality in both private and commercial environments are included in the portfolio of this traditional, medium-sized company. Established in 1912, the mission that led to the company’s founding is still the main driver behind product development: JUNG designs and develops pioneering and timeless products and solutions. Our switches and systems are easy to use and can be tailored to individual requirements. They are produced in the company’s two facilities located in Schalksmühle and Lünen, for which, in 2011, the company received the ‘Made in Germany’ certificate from TÜV Nord. Firmly rooted in the region and a reliable employer for many decades, we are known internationally for the consistently high quality of our products. As a responsible manufacturer, we place great importance on sustainable and energy-efficient production. As a family-run company, JUNG also cultivates a people-centred culture. With around 1,300 employees, we are one of the most important employers in the region. For more than 100 years, we have proven our loyalty to the region and have made a significant contribution to both local economic growth and job security. In 2017, JUNG was once again awarded an official certificate of excellence for the quality of its training programmes in recognition of the company’s high commitment in the field of professional training and of the high degree of satisfaction expressed by its trainees. Additionally, we have 19 subsidiaries and are represented by a further 70 partners in Europe, the US, the Middle East and Asia.
