International Facility Management Association (IFMA) is the world's largest and most widely recognized international association for professional facility managers, supporting 24,000 members in more than 100 countries. Formed in 1980, IFMA certifies facility managers, conducts research, provides educational programs, recognizes facility management degree and certificate programs and produces World Workplace, the world's largest facility management conference and exposition. The IFMA-RICS collaboration established in 2016, the recently announced international standards in facility management ISO41011 and ISO41012, and upcoming ISO41013 (2017) and ISO41001 (2018), showcase how IFMA united facility professionals worldwide to contribute toin the industry. The Hong Kong Chapter was established in 1992 and is the first IFMA Chapter in Asia. The Chapter is now supporting over 600 IFMA members in Hong Kong by offering diverse types of educational and networking events and international credential programs, empowering our members to Learn ∙ Connect ∙ Advance.
