In 1985, the late Dr. Lee Jung Sen, a distinguished philanthropist in Hong Kong, founded the Bei Shan Tang Foundation to institutionalize his efforts to promote Chinese art and culture globally through advancing scholarship in the field. Since the early 2000s, the Foundation also committed to nurturing talents in Hong Kong by awarding scholarships to support underprivileged students to pursue studies overseas. Starting in 2014, the Foundation has been actively catalyzing and supporting the development of Positive Education in Hong Kong.
