Back in 1990 when Business Tourism was barely recognised by many, the Malaysian Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (MACEOS) was incepted with the objective of developing and raising the standards of the Business Events (BE) industry nationwide. With nearly three decades of upholding the industry, MACEOS has evolved over the years but continues to play its strong role in strategically reforming BE. The Association is the mandated representatives of its members who hail from various business establishments including professional exhibition and conference organisers, venue providers, destination management and event management companies to other affiliated members include stand contractors, AV, logistics, airlines, travel & tours and more. MACEOS initiates constructive growth through various activities that focuses on industry development, business facilitation and building human capital for the future. Positioning itself as the "Voice" of the industry, MACEOS will be driving efforts to represent BE players holistically by promoting Innovation, Development, Advocacy and Education.
