The European Center for Biotechnology and Bioeconomy (CEBB) is a multidisciplinary research academic center located in the Grand Est Region of France. Supported by local governmental entities, CEBB unites around 60 researchers from AgroParisTech, CentraleSupélec, NEOMA Business School, and the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne. The center focuses on enhancing the value of bioresources, biorefinery processes, and food-industry by-products. CEBB's mission is to foster innovation and develop new technologies that can be industrialized, contributing to the socio-economic growth of the region. It serves as a technological showcase and research hub for biotechnology, biomaterials, and green chemistry. The center features a technological hall and a chemistry scale-up zone for developing biotechnological processes, along with a dedicated space for the bioeconomy that supports networking, training, and technical assistance. CEBB combines expertise in various fields to create high-value-added chemicals and materials from bioresources and industrial by-products.
