Skylight Law is a boutique climate law firm with one mission: to decarbonize our planet. We structure and negotiate commercial transactions to unlock capital and strategic partnerships for carbon reduction and removal projects. We advise: - climate tech startups in connection with the development and deployment of direct air capture, clean energy and other decarbonization solutions from first pilot through commercialization; - project developers, funders and other stakeholders in connection with the financing, development and management of technology-based and nature-based carbon projects; and - marketplaces and other platforms in connection with the standardization of commercial contracts for voluntary carbon market transactions. We have advised on multiple first-of-their kind transactions, including novel forward financings of carbon projects, and have helped launch innovative decarbonization marketplaces and platforms in the U.S. and Europe. Our clients operate globally, and our experience includes carbon projects in North America, Southeast Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.
