Activate is the nonprofit where scientists become leaders of world-changing ventures. We built the nation’s first fellowship for entrepreneurial scientists—providing the mindsets, skills, networks, and support needed to launch breakthrough hard tech ventures. Through Activate Innovation Labs, we’re expanding that model to support science entrepreneurs at every stage of the journey, making our programs the most comprehensive in the space. Since our founding, Activate's 294 fellows have launched 236 ventures, raised over $4B in follow on funding, and advanced technologies across energy, manufacturing, agriculture, and beyond. With communities nationwide and a growing global footprint, we’re ensuring transformative ideas don’t stay stuck in the lab—they scale into impact.
