The Faculty of Engineering Employability Team offers specialised Engineering support for students who are looking for summer placements, industrial placements, or graduate roles. We provide CV, Cover Letter, interview, and psychometric/situational judgement test support, as well as advertise vacancies from our industrial contacts and send out newsletters regarding Industrial Placements. Within the Frederick Mappin building, we also run The Heartspace Employability & Placements Hub which is located within the Heartspace area. This is a space dedicated to employability for Faculty of Engineering students, and it can be used for 1-1 placement appointments with a member of the team, Global Opportunities, and other careers support (CV/Cover Letter/interviews/online tests). This page will be used to share messages with our students, as well as connect with our wider industrial and alumni networks.
