Tyn Dwr Hall

Built in 1866, Tyn Dwr is a grand country hall situated in the Dee Valley, just outside of the town of Llangollen - an area of outstanding natural beauty. Easily accessible and within 1-1.5 hour's drive from Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham, the hall offers exclusive use for weddings, corporate events and has a number of accommodation options within its ample grounds. Completely renovated in 2015, many of the historic features remain intact, whilst a purpose built extension and contemporary amenities ensure every need is catered for. Accommodation at the hall comprises of a variety suites and bedrooms within the main hall, each with fantastic views of Castell Dinas Bran and the surrounding countryside. Elsewhere within the grounds, the Yew Tree Cottage sits next to one of the oldest and largest yew trees in Wales, whilst the Glamping Village and Coach House provide additional options for an overnight or extended stay. The Hall have their own catering and events team who can provide on-site catering solutions and event management support for all hosted events. Available throughout the year for bookings, the hall and its surroundings provide the perfect backdrop to any event. Tyn Dwr Hall work with a number of trusted third party suppliers and event organisers, meaning any type of bespoke event can be realised. The Hall is an excellent location from which to explore the surrounding areas of Llangollen, Denbighshire and Snowdonia. There are many famous landmarks within the vicinity including the Valle Crucis Abbey, Llangollen Bridge, Horseshoe Pass, Plas Newydd, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Castell Dinas Bran. Llangollen plays host to many events throughout the year including the globally recognised International Music Eisteddfod, the Llangollen Comedy Fringe Festival and multiple food and drink festivals. The town is a hub of activity and benefits from many visitors throughout the year due to its unique location and beautiful surrounding landscapes.
