La Akademia is an educational project founded by Borja Vilaseca that provides free emotional education to young people aged 18 to 23. It aims to fill a gap in traditional education by helping youth explore important philosophical and personal questions about identity, happiness, and purpose. The initiative focuses on personal development, autonomy, and emotional intelligence through workshops and personal mentorship. Participants engage in emotional education workshops designed to enhance self-awareness and personal growth. Each individual also receives around 15 hours of personalized mentorship to help integrate the lessons learned into their lives. The program is community-driven and relies on voluntary participation from both facilitators and participants, creating a supportive environment. Founded in 2011, La Akademia has expanded to include a team of approximately 86 employees and operates in various locations, including Ibiza. The project is dedicated to equipping young adults with the tools they need to lead fulfilling lives.
