As of July 2022, RedBrook Capital Partners ceased operations and is no longer accepting new clients. The firm was co-founded by Sean Banerjee and a small group of Wall Street alumni. RedBrook specialized in identifying distressed opportunities across the commercial real estate debt landscape, particularly during the aftermath of the 2008 Global Financial Crisis. In 2011, the firm successfully pivoted to residential mortgage trading and eventually expanded its services to include consumer portfolio sales on behalf of financial institutions. RedBrook was renowned for its pioneering work in digital distribution within the institutional loan trading space. Its client base included leading dealers, regional banks, and credit unions throughout the United States.
