Since opening the doors in Nobby Beach in 2010, Simon Gloftis and the Hellenika team has remained committed to delivering the highest quality, freshly sourced and sustainable produce whilst championing a customer-centric yet relaxed style of service. The original venue, Hellenika Nobby Beach, opened the doors in 2010, boasting over two levels including a fully retractable roof. Along the crisp white walls are unique pieces of artwork celebrating Greek icons, created by local artist, Shannon Doyle. Hellenka Nobby Beach merges traditional Greek service with relaxed atmosphere of the local area. Hellenika Nobbys Beach sold late November 2019, after nearly a decade of success. Hellenika at The Calile, the second venture, opened late 2018 on Level 1 of The Calile Hotel on James Street, Brisbane. Designed by Brisbane-based architects, Richards and Spence, the smart dining room features natural timber, terrazzo-tiled floors, travertine and echoing sharp marble features found on the Gold Coast.The space opens up to an airy terrace, leading to the poolside where hotel guests can order off the boutique poolside menu. Guests are welcome to book one of the seven semi-private cabana beds. Hellenika provides warm and sophisticated spaces, specializing in fine wine and classic Greek fare. Hellenika is part of the wider Simon James Group, which opens the door to SK Steak and Oyster December 2019.
