Moving On Tyne & Wear (MOTW) is a local employability programme who help people in Tyne and Wear who are unemployed and have a health barrier, disability, additional learning need or autism get into employment, training or volunteering. We are committed to helping people overcome the barriers that have prevented them from finding work or getting training before. Through one-to-one support our Navigators help people to build on their strengths and aspirations, using the skills and expertise of our leading charity partners to support them as they take realistic, manageable steps towards stable employment. The support we offer: •Personal support and advice on a one-to-one basis. •Vast local knowledge. •Health and wellbeing •Disability support. •Access to education and training. •Employment skills. •Specialist employment skills, enterprise, and work experience. •Self-employment advice. •Volunteering. •Employer engagement. Our funders: MOTW is joint funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund and we're a part of the Building Better Opportunities programme. This nationwide initiative invests in local projects that tackle the root causes of poverty and promote social inclusion. Our lead partner: MOTW is led by Mental Health Concern, and we're proud to work with one of the North East's leading charities who supports and cares for people with mental health issues through a wide range of services.
