Al Bashayer Meat Company is Oman's first and the region's largest integrated red meat project, established in 2016. The company focuses on achieving self-sufficiency and food security in red meat protein by raising and fattening livestock such as cows, sheep, goats, and camels locally. It operates a modern abattoir that adheres to Sharia laws, ensuring high standards in the slaughtering process. With a capital of OMR 25 million and a total investment of approximately OMR 36.5 million, Al Bashayer aims to capture about 24% of the total demand for red meat in the market, projecting sales of around OMR 74 million at maturity. The company provides a range of halal meat products, including beef, mutton, and goat meat, processed in a highly sanitized facility that meets international quality standards. Al Bashayer is dedicated to transparency and quality, striving to build trust with consumers and partners while contributing to the local economy.
