Cave de Tain is a cooperative winery located in the northern Rhône Valley, founded in 1933 by Louis Gambert de Loche. The winery represents nearly 300 winegrowers who manage around 1,000 hectares of vineyards across prestigious appellations, including Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, Cornas, and Saint-Péray. The cooperative is committed to sustainable viticulture and innovation while honoring traditional winemaking practices. Cave de Tain offers a range of services, including immersive wine tourism experiences like Segway vineyard tours and guided tastings. It also operates TerraRhona, a professional wine school that provides training in viticulture and oenology. The winery produces AOC-certified wines from five iconic crus and has an organic range that includes several varieties. Its cooperative model ensures high-quality production while promoting eco-friendly initiatives, including organic wine production.
