Bindura Nickel Corporation (BNC) is a mining company located in Zimbabwe's Mashonaland Central region. Founded in 1966, BNC is a member of the Kuvimba Mining House and focuses on the mining and extraction of nickel, along with producing by-products such as copper and cobalt. The company operates several mines, including the Trojan Mine in Bindura and the Shangani Mine, as well as the Hunters Road Project. BNC is involved in the exploration, extraction, processing, and refining of nickel, copper, and cobalt ores. Its products include nickel cathodes, copper sulphide, and cobalt hydroxide. The company also owns smelter and refinery complexes in Bindura, which are currently under care and maintenance. BNC's operations contribute significantly to Zimbabwe's mining sector, supplying essential metals for various industrial applications.
