Águas do Douro e Paiva, S.A. (AdDP) is a Portuguese state-owned utility company that manages the water supply system in southern Greater Porto. Established in 2017, it operates under a 20-year exclusive concession and serves approximately 1.8 million residents across 22 municipalities, including Porto and Gaia. The company captures, treats, and distributes drinking water over a geographic area of 2,715 km². AdDP is committed to sustainability and has been a participant in the UN Global Compact since August 2022. It focuses on innovation, equity in access to water resources, and environmental stewardship. As part of the AdP - Águas de Portugal group, it plays a vital role in providing essential water services while ensuring responsible management practices.
