Guardian Power are focused on delivering nuclear new build solutions which are fully aligned with UK’s Net Zero ambitions. Our principle aim is to deliver base load (24/7) carbon free energy sources to a range of UK consumers to meet the growing demand for carbon free electricity, and a range of other carbon free products, such as hydrogen, industrial heat or desalination. Our goal is to fully engage the UK supply chain in the manufacture of the next generation of SMR and Advanced Reactor technologies and to deliver nuclear new build solutions in a smarter and more innovative approach to reduce risks and drive down the costs of new nuclear energy. Nuclear energy is unparalleled in terms energy intensity and offers the UK a stable, reliable and proven source of non-intermittent energy as we transition to a Net Zero economy. By adopting innovative SMR and Advanced Reactor technologies Guardian Power will lead the charge in demonstrating the cost competitiveness of this unique form of energy.
