3801 Limited is a non-for profit organisation that runs heritage train tours using our fleet of restored heritage trains. Our premier tour is the Cockatoo Run. Restored heritage locomotives and carriages operate from Sydney through to Robertson and Moss Vale via Wollongong on select Thursdays and Sundays. You can enjoy a stop in Robertson, or make your way to the Illawarra Tree Top Walk to enjoy spectacular views across the rainforest. We also operate the Hawkesbury River Express, which passes through the Ku-RIng-Gai National Park and through the scenic rail corridor through Broken Bay. You can either take the train all the way to Gosford, or you can disembark at Hawkesbury and take a riverboat cruise (with a ploughmans lunch) on the Hawkesbury River. Our fleet is also well suited for charters, especially corporate charters, and we have run tours to well regarded destinations such as Mudgee, the Hunter Valley and the Southern Highlands. Our spectacularly restored lounge cars are perfect for corporate groups and create a very intimate but social environment that is perfect for networking.
