Studio Vosges was established in 2015 by Sundance Fellow Ava Davis, and was formally created as a limited liability company in 2019 to help produce a short for its flagship icon, the Duchess of Grant Park. Since then we have branched out into web series and feature films. Studio Vosges was created to help lift and highlight the voices of trans, queer and non-binary voices, especially the voices of trans, queer, and non-binary voices from people of color. Davis, a black trans queer woman, noticed the lack of voices in her independent film community and wanted to create opportunities for herself and others. Studio Vosges is run by Ava Davis.
