The Missouri Black Behavior Analysis Community (MOBBAC) is a professional organization focused on supporting Black practitioners and students in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in Missouri. Co-founded by Kelly Baird, M.A., BCBA, CCTSI, who serves as president, MOBBAC aims to create a supportive community that emphasizes cultural relevance, social justice, and inclusivity in behavior analysis. MOBBAC offers professional development, networking, and mentorship opportunities for Black behavior analysts. This includes continuing education with a focus on ethics and cultural competence, as well as supervision and practicum programs designed to prepare candidates for BCBA/BCaBA certification. The organization collaborates with various initiatives to enhance representation and support for Black professionals in ABA, fostering a community committed to culturally relevant and neuroaffirming practices.
