The Korea International Cooperation Agency(KOICA) was established as a government-funded agency dedicated to grant aid programs on April 1991. KOICA playing a pivotal role in carrying out Korea’s grant aid programs. With South Korea’s ever-increasing status on the global stage, the international community’s expectations for its role in solving international development problems are also growing. Utilizing KOICA as their shared platform, a great number of South Korean organizations, agencies, businesses, and individuals participate in this broad array of KOICA projects.
