The North West Regional Health Authority (NWRHA) is a government agency in Trinidad and Tobago that delivers public healthcare services in the northwestern region of the country. Established in 1995, it serves around 500,000 residents from Carenage to St. Joseph and Las Cuevas to the Churchill Roosevelt Highway. NWRHA operates as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health, focusing on accountability, transparency, and integrity in its operations. NWRHA manages a network of healthcare facilities, including three hospitals, one district health facility, 17 health centres, and three wellness centres. These facilities provide a variety of health services, emphasizing primary care, wellness promotion, and the management of chronic diseases and mental health. The Authority is dedicated to customer-focused service delivery and aligns its healthcare initiatives with national health objectives to meet the needs of the community.
