The Non-Pharmacological Intervention Society (NPIS) is an international scientific society established in 2021. It is dedicated to advancing the science and best practices of non-pharmacological interventions (NPIs) in healthcare. NPIs include personalized and targeted healthcare solutions that do not involve drugs or vaccines, such as behavioral, physical, psychological, or social interventions. NPIS operates as a collaborative research platform, addressing the need for consensus on defining and evaluating NPIs. It has developed the NPIS Model, a standardized framework that identifies effective and safe NPIs based on published studies. The society leads international research efforts to establish definitions, evaluation criteria, and ethical guidelines for NPIs. It also maintains a registry of NPIs and provides educational resources to share best practices and scientific knowledge with the global healthcare community. NPIS serves healthcare researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and health authorities interested in integrating NPIs into clinical practice and public health strategies.
