FNB Zambia received its banking license in November 2008 and began operating in 2009 with an initial three branches across Lusaka and the Copperbelt. The bank has since grown to include a national footprint in seven (7) of the 10 provinces of Zambia supported by agencies, Automatic Teller Machines (ATM) and Point of Sale machines. FNB Zambia is a subsidiary of FNB South Africa, a wholly owned division of FirstRand Bank Limited which is listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, and provides personal, commercial & corporate banking services to a diverse customer base of over 180,000 (including large corporates, SMEs, youth and pensioners). FNB Zambia Limited is a licensed commercial bank.
