Founded in March 2013, Golden Tiger Supply Chain Services Limited is a dedicated and exclusive supply chain operations company to Dunelm in the Homeware. The activities of the company started in Bangladesh, China was added in August 2013 and latterly we have been awarded Indonesia. Working on a completely transparent basis and being rewarded ‘only’ as a percentage of the FOB price so we become a part of customers cost centre, we are able to deliver services in country using dedicated and skilled personnel. Based on the principles of high moral standing, Golden Tiger performs its activities with integrity to perform its duties in country to ensure the customer operates within a safe, structured and coordinated environment by adding value to the customers supply chain in delivering a portfolio of products to customers’ expectations, with the final negotiation of the FOB price being agreed by the customer. Golden Tigers main areas of activities are • Quality Assurance –supporting the vendors in supply chain best practice to reduce risk by operating appropriate systems and procedures. • Quality Control – performing inline, pre shipment reporting (PSI) to define and transparent AQL criteria and standards. • Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) –, working and supporting our vendors to ensure they maintain and manage a mandatory degree of due diligence and acquire an audit, which supports continuous improvement as a condition of supply. • Vendor management – support new and existing factories in country with existing and new procedures and develop commercial opportunities for Dunelm. • Sourcing - new factories and products to present to the Dunelm Buying Team to ensure our product portfolio is up to date and fresh. • Merchandising – coordinating visibility to Dunelm from the vendor base through the product life cycle.
