Hanwha Systems and Overair are collaborating to develop Butterfly, a VTOL(Vertical Take-Off and Landing) type air taxi of which the features include high energy efficiency, low noise level and environment-friendliness. Another strategic move of Hanwha Systems was the recent acquisition of Phasor Solutions, Ltd., a UK venture specialized in satellite communication antenna technology. The purpose of this acquisition was to secure the proprietary technology for low earth orbit satellite communication antenna, which will provide the key component for satellite internet connectivity.
