Solidarity Fund PL in Moldova is a representative office of Solidarity Fund PL — a State Treasury foundation, supervised and co-financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, established to contribute to Polish cooperation for development. The Solidarity Fund PL in Moldova team supports the transformative action of the undertaken activities, needed for various levels of the community building process. We are a multi-disciplinary team of young professionals, that supports the local development process, functioning on the principles of solidarity, subsidiarity and synergy. Since 2012, based on the Memorandum of Understanding, signed between Republic of Poland and Republic of Moldova, our team helps the local communities shape themselves through the opportunities we create together with our partners. Interacting with the existing international development prototypes, we advocate for our people’s needs and for our country’s improvement . The systemic approach the organization is applying is the base of a sustained intense activity we are carrying on in order to help our local partners build capacity within themselves. The deeply ingrained desire to work for the community’s future is the motor of our activity. Supporting the local democracy, by creating durable partnerships among rural and urban areas of Moldova is one of the main working principles. By sharing the acquired experience and promoting the good practices, we intensify our efforts to make a change for the better of the community-led development process. We aim to support both rural and urban development, as well as confidence-building measures among communities of both sides of the Dniester river.
