I Hana Card’s Many Firsts I Developed in 1978, the Hana Card was the first Credit Card issuer in South Korea. Since then, it has been the leading industry in Mobile Payment and has released ‘Hana Members’ -- the first Membership Service available in the financing market. Hana Card is also highly reputable in foreign credit card acquisition and through a joint venture with SK Telecom, Hana Card has launched Korea’s first (and the world’s leading) mobile stand-alone card. I A Trusted Company I Hana Card is a major operating subsidiary of the Hana Financial Group (HFG) and its total assets account for 6.6 billion USD. With approximately 750 employees and 15 branches nationwide, Hana provides credit card services, installment financing and lease financing under the Credit Specialized Financial Industry. I Next Steps and Future Missions I In 2014, the Hana SK Card and KEB Card started the huge undertaking of merging to become the ‘Hana Card.’ Thus began the new mission to encourage consumers to become a ‘Smart Financial Innovator, Leading Smart Life,’ with the completion of the system integration in 2015.
