ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) is a non-profit organization based in the Netherlands, dedicated to promoting European music talent on a global scale. Established in 1986 and headquartered in Groningen, it hosts Europe’s largest showcase festival and music conference each January, attracting over 40,000 attendees and 4,000 industry professionals. The festival features more than 40 stages across the city, providing a platform for emerging artists to perform and connect with industry leaders. The organization focuses on elevating new European artists through various initiatives, including the European Talent Exchange (ETEP), which helps book acts at major festivals, and ESNS Radar & Analytics, a data-driven platform that tracks the impact of European artists. ESNS also organizes prestigious awards such as the Music Moves Europe Awards and the European Festival Awards. Beyond the annual event, ESNS offers year-round support for artists, including resources and advocacy, and collaborates with brands for ticketing and audience engagement.
