Lebanese students in the country or abroad, In order to rise from the tragedy of the 4th of August, we decided to create Kalam, an opinion journal 100% student-led that will provide you with a platform where you can speak up about any topic you'd like, in any language you'd like, whether it is in English or in French. Kalam bases itself on an operation to rise from the ashes that draws itself from the freedom of speech and ideas of us, youth. It's all about amplifying our voices into an indestructible shield against the rising attempts at political instrumentalization. May this journal be the place where you can wholly release, during these unceasing uproars in a country like ours, your will to live, your freedom of speech and expression, of life and delight, of hope and despair.
