The National Association of College Stores (NACS) is a professional trade association based in Oberlin, Ohio, representing the collegiate retail industry, which is valued at $10 billion. Established in 1923 and renamed in 1932, NACS serves nearly 2,300 campus retailers and about 1,000 associate members who supply products to college stores across the United States. NACS's mission is to support professionals managing campus-based retail operations, particularly those owned by educational institutions, faculty, or students. The association advocates for the collegiate retail market and integrates it into the higher education ecosystem through strategic partnerships, education, and resources that enhance student academic success. NACS offers services such as advocacy, industry knowledge dissemination, networking opportunities, and events like the Campus Market Expo (Camex). It also publishes *The College Store* magazine and has a long history of conventions and vendor exhibits.
